SPECIAL EDUCATION
The programs at Bright Learning Center is designed to meet the educational needs of children with Autism, ADHD, & LD. We provide a structured teaching approach to learning.
An IEP (Individual Education Plan) will direct the program. Long term goals for our students with Autism include the development of functional skills, initiative and independence. Special attention is paid to skills in the following domains; communication, social, academic, daily living, independence and sensory motor issues. Services are provided in a continuum of environments ranging from self-contained to full inclusion settings, based upon the needs of the student.
Intensive early intervention is our priority.
Learning Disabilities:
- Some children exhibit learning problems while in school. Some of these problems may include :
- Poor reading.
- Weakness in spelling.
- Weakness in letter or sound recognition
- Dyslexia (reading and language based learning disability).
- Difficulty in completing the work assignment in the classroom and at home.
- Difficulty staying on topic.
- Difficulty in problem solving and figuring things out.
- Difficulty in sequencing actions/events.

Treatment includes appropriately diagnosing the related language disorder, developing language goals, comprising modification and strategies that can be implemented in the classroom.
